The House Resources Committee is going bats**t with new bills to micro-manage agencies, and do away with ALL environmental laws, regulations, and agency SOPs. Simpson isn’t by ANY means the only moron head butting decades of laws, initially signed by that Uber liberal, Richard M. Nixon.

ICOMMENTSIT suspect the elephants are going to continue to do as much damage as they can to punish those communist tree-jiggers who keep insisting on trying to protect the environment. After all their bunkers are ready for when the whole thing collapses. Their business model is China after all.

And over on Rogers you say, “The democrat talking point of the day is “fat kids”. They should eat good like those kids in Africa. They are so skinny.” You should read your own posts and edit for consistency.

I had not heard of this issue. Isn’t this typical of what the Republic Party is kind of known for? If there is anything that comes up about protecting the environment or animals, they always say no. But they keep getting elected, so the people in those states must be ok with it.

I’m sure Ima gets off on being berated by liberals and leftists; she/he hates us so much that our criticism justifies her/his own grandiose fantasy life. So by and large I ignore her/his foolish and stupid posts. But every now and again she/he says something so remarkably dumb I just can’t resist.

Mikefive: I will certainly agree that in many areas, regulations have gone to the extreme, and the way they’re written, and “modified” is beyond comprehension in many areas. We DO need “reform”, but NOT rejection of common sense, and science.

As to the “no one wants to do away with all environmental laws”, please read H.R. 1505, which specifically DOES call for the elimination of ALL environmental laws! It starts at within 100 miles of our borders, but the intent to go “all the way” is clear.

House committees under Boehner’s rule, have pretty much all gone completely NUTS!! Anarchy would be a rather pleasant analysis of where they really intend to go.

That’s the kind of comment I heard children in kindergarten making. Maybe you hold off posting anything else to these forums until you graduate from high school, if the republicans don’t shut them down first.

If two people who are relatively new to this site make the same incoherent comments then its safe to say that the same person is posing as two people.

There are those who can’t understand and there are those who won’t understand. Guess which catagory you are dealing with.

^ TA DA!! It’s an all bets are off, ANYONE can ignore the laws, law. The House committee has a bunch more of these “gems” coming out! The trick is, how to veto them all, especially when they’ll in many cases be included in other “legislation”, that, well can’t be vetoed.

Ima: “feminazi” (plus a couple dozen other “Rushisms”), “ears”, “Oblama”, “Kenyan”, “Obumma”, a few dozen variants on “savior”, “anointed one”, and religious epithets, “Muslim”, “birthers” continuous idiocy, and well, dozens of other generalized insulting terms, versus “Shrub”, which IS the translation for the name of one of the oil companies “W” (oh, right, his middle initial) was identified with.

Yes, “liberals” are obviously the ones who do the “name calling”.
