Long trench coats (especially black ones) have been forbidden school wear in a lot of schools around the country since Columbine.

I know it’s just the NCO in me but, GT needs to fix Roz’s hair. AR 670-1 par 1-8 as it applies to females in uniform: Hair will not fall over the eyebrows or extend below the bottom edge of the collar at any time during normal activity or when standing in formation. Ponytails, pigtails, or braids that are not secured to the head (allowing hair to hang freely), widely spaced individual hanging locks, and other extreme styles that protrude from the head are prohibited.

Reality check for GT: every goth chick I’ve ever seen isn’t into sports at all. They gravitate towards the arts, and have a tendency towards shyness, not aggression.

If the whole point guard thing is a jab at Sarah Palin, then that’s good, I’ll go along with the storyline.

Night Gaunt49: From yesterday’s. We don’t talk about “bad stuff” with family, but sometimes “stuff” slips out, and mom’s don’t want to think about what their country sends their sons and daughters off to, just the living conditions alone, let alone “other stuff”.

There are many vet organizations where folks DO go to reminisce. Many in those organizations tend to be “wannabes”. It IS interesting however, that ONLY those who have “been there, done that” talk about some things, and only to each other. It CAN be a form of healing, actually.

The clock is fine. It’s one that sticks out from the wall and has two faces one on each side so as to be seen from either side.
