    Has Petey ever returned any of her emotions? Does she just now admit to this? I have missed a lot I guess. Pegbon is worth a read. I could really see his point. Of course his is over 15 years old, were as we have a solid,creative,imaginative right now above board artist who is keeping us well on our toes.Blessed Be

    Both Flask and Wally have shiners, but it looks like Flask is winning the fight so far. Flaaaask! ;0;

    She’s kind of admitted to it, back when Petey was first being transplanted into his new “body”, but she’s kept it very hush-hush since. Not a bad thing, actually – knowing the whole situation wouldn’t help Petey maintain his cool, after all. And Pibgorn is always worth a read…

    This also confirms that Flask and Petey were lovers (in my mind, anyway). I agree that Petey never returned her feelings. I think she always knew from the moment he was put in a can that he didn’t remember her or share her feelings anymore, but I think she still loved him and wanted to watch over him/give him the gift of revenge. But now not only does he still not remember, but he’s so appalled by her behavior that he can’t even be her friend. ;^; Don’t worry Flask, I’m sure Gatocat would be happy to carry you off into the sunset. XD

    I owe Greg Cravens for this. He’s spreading the word around at his strip about Endtown, so I need to reciprocate. Greg, the artist on The Buckets, has started a new strip called Hubris!. It’s a sitcom centering around a guy that owns his own outdoor shop. It’s just beginning, but it s funny. Worth the visit.

    WAlly does look like he is not really winning yet. She is terminally destructive to herself and everyone else. I’m expecting Petey and Linda to arrive shortly and for AM to decide that whatever he learned in that book.

    Aaron gave me all the photos off his cell phone from Anthrocon. I cherrypicked the ones relating to the convention itself and uploaded them to The Underground.

    Exactly what I said 10 or 12 days ago. From her perspective, this is redemption. It’s always and ever been about her; the rest of the world really doesn’t exist to her.

    Remember, the name “Blackie” is ALL that Petey remembers from his time before being "harvested for use in the PT. Flask recognized him immediately, but never divulged anything about their relationship. This does answer some questions at least about the nature of their relationship. That last panel reminds me of Richard Gere in “Officer and a Gentleman” when he was being pushed by the DI to quit OCS: “I got nowhere else to go!” Flask is now at the point where Wally might have gotten to if not for Holly. She sees no future for herself and is determined to take as many of her enemies as possible with her.

    I have been wondering for quit a while now if Petty and Flask really ever had a lovers relationship… I really don’t think she’s refering to Petty at all here. Just IMHO.

    @kaecispop: You said yesterday:“How naive oy you to think that we will not have to wit till Monday to end the cliffhanger. Tommorrow will show the launch against the ship.”Yesterday I replied to you:“As always [and in all things] we shall see what we shall see.”Now it’s today. We do see what we see. And we do NOT see [as you put it] “the launch against the ship.”

    The tatters of Flask’s mind are waving in the breeze of insanity. The stress of war and Apocalypse have taken down stronger stuff than she was made of, true, but I think the is about to reveal more about her past than she would like! Oh this is going to be a bumpy ride.

    “My body, not my own anymore…”Where is GatoCat to reply to THAT line? Make it yours, Flask. Things work out the best for those who make the best out of how things work out.

    I’ve been re-reading past strips:

    http://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2010/11/05

    Early evidence that Flask has never been quite what she seems, or too tightly wrapped either.

    This is also more evidence that Aaron is a true master for keeping his characters “in character” while weaving a complex, detailed, long running tale.
