Holly’s lucky to have a little sister like Alix. The voice of reason in the madness of growing up.

And the body issues start so early… In Europe, I like how they don’t care what they look like in a bathing suit (okay, I don’t like the speedos, but they’re really not that prevalent, at least not at the beaches I’ve been to in Spain).

Alix your one smart little girl to get your sister to join in the fun.

My girls used to set their hair and use enough hairspray to put a hole in the ozone layer – and then jump in the pool.

Dearest Alix,I sincerely believe you will go a long way in life, with your understanding of what’s important, valuable, and in humanity. Enjoy, and remember these days, as they will never come again! Bring a camera.PS: There is much philosophy in cartoons!

This is very common. Several people I know (both men & women) won’t wear bathing suits in summer because they’re insecure about how they look.

So do I. That’s why my bathing suit looks like a dress. I love it. Wouldn’t be caught dead in a bikini. I blame the Bible for making me one of the most joyful people I know.

I was with my Christan school class down at Daytona Beach, Florida in ’76. We girls were ordered to wear a T-shirt over our ONE piece bathing suits. We had to be extremely modest.

I prefer one pieces over a bikini ANY day.

I think one piece suits leave more to the imagination.
