Excuse me, but I wanta ask again what I did late yesterday evening. Won’t ask again:This reminds me a little bit of the time Joan left Holly to baby-sit Alix, and Holly performed a successful Heimlich on Alix. Did that happen, or am I confabbing? Can’t find with brief search via Google.
Alix now knows how far she can reach out the window before she topples to the ground. Maybe a bush broke her fall. She’s ten…she’s old enough to be left alone in a room.
Quit being so judgmental about Val. At least she isn’t wrapping her kids in bubble wrap-she’s letting them learn the way kids & people learn, hands on. Bubble wrapped kids are the ones with unfit parents.
Come to think of it, I fell backwards out of a first-story window before I was two. That was my earliest memory – I fell into a hedge. My father ran down the back steps in his sock feet. Then I was inside, with my parents trying to comfort me.
