Not everyone in the church agrees with the Poop these days. Maybe that is why so many have been leaving the church in recent decades? It is possible for some to retain faith, without swallowing everything they’re spoon fed. Only a couple millennia for it to “catch on”.

Are the pages from your dogma well worn or pristine because you have it memorized?

Take off that dress and put on some slacks, Pope.

“Well, yes. Sodomy is such an abomination in the eyes of God that any righteous man (as was Lot) would sacrifice even his beloved daughters to prevent God from being so offended. (It would not have been rape if the father consented.) "I have yet to read a Bible that specifies the Angels were male. If you really think God would prefer heterosexual rape over homosexual sex, you are one sick person.

I still believe that the pope should have laid his papal gear on the line and put his holy body in harms way when the US illegally invaded Iraq. An act like that from any religious leader would have altered the old world order toward the most divine purpose, saving innocent lives. But no, better that the pious one attack the rights of women, so much easier than committing your faith against real violence as opposed to the misguided perception of protecting the so-callled “unborn.”

Yes! Up to 15% or so non-religious, and rising quickly.

Exactly. Human sacrifice is always immoral.

Pretty much, yeah. Plus, I have never really seen the logic of scapegoating; taking it out on a being who is not responsible for the problem, solves what now? Let people take responsibility for their own damn behavior, and not pretend that if they accept the ‘sacrifice’ of an unrelated person that it clears them of everything they’ve done.

i know this is probably radical thinking, but if you don’t like his doctrine, why support his church?
