Does she wear gloves or is she without claws? Wally is going at this bare handed, obviously. I have never noted claws on him either. So it comes down to teeth, fists, feet, “highth” and need. Wally needs her dead. He is desperate and then she taunts him.( I think that Linda should show up SOON. Aaron HAD to created her for some really outstanding act or purpose.) Or maybe Holly has an idea. No, I am voting for Petey. He would make a perfect captain. Could Petey use the friend he made at the beginning? Could it/she control or send notifications or commands to the TS . Flask put a lot of the critters out of commission, might delay the final actions. I am having toooo much fun with this situation. Have a whole lot of fun Aaron in PA..Next year is is the San Diego Comicon. I promise we will all chip in for the seat.Blessed Be.

Reminds me of a scene in Canales and Guarnido’s Blacksad [Another outstanding Anthropomorphic Graphic Novel that no Endtown reader will ever regret hunting down and purchasing]. Blacksad, a black cat of a Private Eye, had just tracked down Ivo Statoc, a toad, the richest guy in town, and the murderer of an actress, a former lover of Blacksad’s. Statoc: Well, well, everything is negotiable…will $100,000 do justice to your skills?Blacksad: Mr. Statoc, you’ve a twisted idea of justice. It has nothing to do with money. Money doesn’t extend that far…can not bring back to life those who died, nor quiet down the conscience of those claiming vengeance. Can’t even stop me from killing you.Statoc: Ha, ha, ha…conscience! That’s the reason you can’t pull the trigger. You are nothing but a poor devil, full of morals and scruples. You have class, but you’ll never make it dragging that load. You’re missing the most important thing, what makes a guy like me get to the top … cold blood."If it hadn’t “been for that smirk, I would have not been able to kill him , but the harm was already done. His precious cold blood was spreading across his desk.”I’m getting to the point where I’m not going to be surprised if Flask and Wally have a similar exchange. The likes of Flask’s “You filthy little peacenik…” are kin to Ivo Statoc’s self-satisfied, nothing-can-touch-me smirk and may get Flask exactly the same result.

You know that we’re getting led down a path here?

The obvious is a fight to the death. But Aaron doesn’t always do the obvious.

There are still undefined variables. Our missing Koala bear, Marx, the original owners, Petey, and Lord knows what else he has up his sleeve.

    Can’t wait for Monday.

Is the only source for the size of the explosion resulting from a missile hitting the balloon over the ship the word of the ship itself? Not only are there undefined variables, I don’t trust Aaron Marx and the ship to give accurate information.

Oh Philomena, there’s that fatal flaw again. Arrogance and overconfidence. You are happily waving a blowtorch in a dynamite factory totally oblivious to the “cat” tasrophe (couldn’t resist) that is about to overwhelm you. When Wally stood up to you in the PT, he was only defending the TSer non-combatants, and in that instance a stun shot to the hands was enough. But now the stakes are so much higher. Now it’s not only the TSers, but Holly as well (and to a lesser degree Petey, Linda, AM, and the PT). This time lesser measures are insufficeint. Your flaws limit your perception of Wally to your own cursory evaluation. He is not a non-violent, peace-at-all-costs, peacenik (to use your word). Wally will fight when the situation calls fo it, and history shows he fights well. He is not afraid of guns. He abhors their misuse, but has shown himself to be quite handy with one when he needs be. Since zero weapons are out of play here, one potential avenue here could lead to a deathbed reveal of the Flask/Petey backstory we have been tantalized with fleeting glimpses of for so long. Only time and Aaron will tell…. ;-)

Panel 3 has the best picture of Flask yet. Nice job Aaron. As to how this will all pan out, I’m not even going to attempt a guess. Too many potentials. I think I’ll just sit back and enjoy the story…….wherever it leads. Have a good weekend all. Knock ‘em dead in Pgh Aaron! Good luck with today’s presentation. See y’all on Monday.

    Look at panel 4.

Flask’s eyes are telling what she really is thinking. She is worried about that little civilian Civil Engineer might do to her.

If she was just going to brush Wally off, she would be looking straight ahead but here, she is acting like she does not think he can do it but is scared enough, and knows enough, that the back of Flask’s mind is telling her to keep an eye on him and move like H*LL if he makes a move.

Oh to see what comes up on Monday.

Gosh! Flask really wants Wally the kill her. She really wants to be dead and she’ll goat Wally into doing it for her. She really is a piece of work. So Selfish…If she can’t do it herself she’ll either take everone with her on her suicide mission or goat poor Wally into taking her out of her misery. Either way nobody wins. Sad, very sad.

He could shoot her in the knee! If that doesn’t work he could shoot her other knee, and then an elbow. She wouldn’t be able to control the panel and he could offer her a pain pill to retract the command!!
