I don’t think raising the interest rate on student loans will save social security and medicare raising the tax rate on the top 1% and a means test is a start in the right direction. This best chance to get out of our situation is a well educated population. The biggest success of the United States after WWII was because of the GI bill a government program to better educate the people.
