Pasti’s humor is starting to grate on me!

Good; Rat’s not alone.

Still looking for the grill of his dreams……

Certainly not one his most ‘tasteful’ or ‘sizzling’ strips.

But Pig, it’s such a fashionable grill, a real “in” grate!(Ducking projectiles)

You know, it takes a great deal of skill to come up with a pun that’s so subtle, yet so eye-rollingly awful at the same time. Stephan, you da man!

people who don’t like this pun are ingrates

Oh how I love Stephan and his puns…Also, I just got the new pearls book and it is AWESOME!!!

Not fair to rake Stephan over the coals for a grate pun.

I’m touched by Goat’s sadness in the last frame.He really does not want to hate anyone, but just HAS TO BE aggravated by Stephan’s wit.

I’ll be worried for Stephan once Pig starts hating the puns. Unlikely, given that he’s always the mouthpiece for them.

This isn’t really a pun but more a misunderstanding on Goat’s part.

Reuben award is announced tomorrow, right?? Even though this comic strip today is hilariously lame, I hope Stephen gets the award! He definitely deserves it – this is my favorite comic strip!

where can i find a comic strip about listening

Todays strip is just grating me.

I have read(and occasionally re-read) Spider Robinsons Cross-time Saloon series… so I’m fairly immune to puns, even the REALLY bad ones. So far the puns Pastis has used haven’t hit the brain-pain level yet. If you truly like puns you should check the series out, its science fiction written the way Robert Heinlein wrote his novels.

But is he going to cook a Reuben on the grate?

I like puns, but that one really grated on me.

Jeez, Goat, don’t be such an in-grate. Be grate-ful for the grate humor that Pastis brings to the strip.
