He did talk to the grunts on the ground, but he didn’t like what they told him.

Being in the bird IS fun, well, until they get beat up. Been there, done that. (Pilots aren’t the only ones who fly.)

When the bird get shot out from underneath you it suddenly stops being fun but during the surprisingly long period of time it takes to reach the ground you can think of other things.

Well, you know, I’m told I have to support the troops, so I guess I support the troops. It seems to be the ONLY difference from Viet Nam.

Mel is telling him very politely to eff off. But Roland is far too thick to get it.

I’m very happy to see others realize you cannot trust the media, period. It doesn’t seem to matter if they’re left or right, they all have their slant and are out to make money, not report the “news”.Way to go, Mel.

It pains me the way idiots pan Fox News by calling it “Faux News.” Can any of you give me an actual EXAMPLE of Fox News phonying up the news? Or is it all in your imagination, foisted on you by the REAL “Faux News” at ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and others in the liberal media? Better have proof.

At least she seems more together this year!

Ever wonder how much or our attention goes to imaginary people, as we ignore realpeople and needs?

On “accuracy”: We used to listen to Hanoi Hannah, then Armed Forces radio, combine the reports, and divide by 2, to estimate what REALLY happened in any “event”. In one “notable” case, L.A. Times reported the exact OPPOSITE “casualty-wise” of an incident where we lost a lot of people. That is why I’ve not blindly trusted any single news report in 45 years. (It’s also why after “fact checking” their reports, I don’t believe ANYTHING FOX “news” interprets, excuse me, “reports”.)

“Terrorist fist bump?”Seriously, I don’t know any Faux lovers who would accept ANY proof. However, there were at least three occasions that I saw where they used crowd footage from a different rally to sell their point, one from the wrong season, and one using an Obama rally to sell a TeaBag rally as successful.

Masterskrain: Brit Hume: worked for ABC News for 23 years.Bernard Goldberg: worked for CBS News for 28 years.Juan Williams: worked for NPR for 10 years and the Washington Post for 23 years. What do these three journalists have in common? They all either dumped or were dumped by their mainstream media employers and went to work for FOX. So did they suddenly be come outrageously biased and corrupted by Fox, or did they find a better climate in which to work? You’ll never know unless you watch for yourself instead of judging because of what you’ve heard.

Fritzoid: We lost 241, found 1 dead VC, Times swapped that around. While our current kill ration is advertised at 100+ to 1, the point is, peace is supposed to be the militaries real objective.

I agree. I watched the PBS ‘News Hour’ religiously for 20 years. But in the last few years it has become decidedly more pro-corporate.The Bush admin cut funding, so PBS had to get the money from the people who have the money, and those people want something for their money.
