Lame! Newt’s history. This would have been a perfect time for Trudeau to do a zinger on Warren, but I guess he can’t resist taking potshots at Conservatives. Look, I really like this strip but his bias gets boring after a while.

Anything other than focusing on the epic disaster the Obama presidency has been, especially for the economy.

    Look! SQUIRREL!

Newt to the moon Gingrich.. Should have stayed home and yelled at the kids playing on yard.. Oh wait rich white republican.. Well maybe an affair then..

As for Mitt. He should have simply said I apologize for being a stupid kid and let it go.. But nope the whole spiel that he gave only makes it look like he is a fool and has regrets in being a bully then.

His non apology apology makes it painfully clear he does not care.

    President Obama 2012

For the republican/tea party members here. Suck it up GD has never been shy about where he has stood politically.

We’re getting out of the idiot’s idiot wars. The economy IS turning around, but yes, slowly after 30 years of stupidity on the part of “conservatives”. So let’s all get focus set on that super-critical threat to life on Earth, “same-sex marriage”. Let’s also ignore the “high school shenanigans” of innocent little Mitt Romney, just like Kip Kinkle in Oregon, or those jolly hall monitors at Columbine, pesky fun-loving, teenagers!

And all you trolls are happy to vote for a rich, French-speaking flip-flopper this time. Maybe the fact that he’s a life-long bully makes him more palatable than Kerry was…

People complain about GT’s bias. And yes he does tend to hammer the conservatives but he gives his shots to the left when they do something truly boneheaded and they deserve the criticism. I tried reading Mallard Fillmore for a while but I discovered that in that world, conservatives never, ever, ever make a mistake or do anything wrong. What I find most interesting is that Pulitzer prizes have gone to the at least semi-balanced cartoonists such as Trudeau and Ben Sargent. The wholly one-sided cartoonists win nothing.

I see Bain Capital as the logical extension of his bully ethos.

As for the family denials, how does that weigh more than the former fellow students that attested to those incidents? The family wasn’t there, and the students were.

Newt Gingrich has a particular thing about giraffes:

If combat means living in a ditch, females have biological problems staying in a ditch for thirty days because they get infections and they don’t have upper body strength. I mean, some do, but they’re relatively rare. On the other hand, men are basically little piglets, you drop them in the ditch, they roll around in it, doesn’t matter, you know. These things are very real. On the other hand, if combat means being on an Aegis-class cruiser managing the computer controls for twelve ships and their rockets, a female may be again dramatically better than a male who gets very, very frustrated sitting in a chair all the time because males are biologically driven to go out and hunt giraffes."— Address, “Renewing American Civilization,” Reinhardt College, (7 January 1995)

The family hasn’t denied the incident with Romney took place – Lauber’s older sister, who did not live at home at the time, has said she was unaware of the incident – which is a much different thing. It’s not hard to imagine Lauber hid the incident from his family – what young man is going to go home and say “I got terrorized and humiliated at school for (supposedly) being gay”? Another sister has said the Post story was “incorrect” in its portrayal of John Lauber – but she did not say in what way it was incorrect (perhaps in suggesting he might have been gay), and refused further comment. On the other hand, the Post story has five witnesses/participants, four of whom let their names stand publicly,. That’s pretty hard to refute.

The fact is that both Newt and Mitt are bullies, and more than a tad arrogant. Even the most violent bully WILL occasionally throw a nut to the squirrels, which . . .

“Usurper Barry with TRILLION dollar deficits for as far as he can print worthless money.”Your intense ideology marches on without reference to reality.Almost all of the current deficit is from the two massive tax breaks, two wars, and Medicare giveaway of 2001 to 2006. Like a credit card, you spend first, pay much later, with interest. We will be paying off the $800 billion Iraq war, for instance, for many years to come. The ‘printing worthless money’ I assume, is a reference to the Federal Reserve’s QE2 program. (If you can take some time and read about your government for awhile, you’ll learn that the Federal Reserve, which is headed by Bush-appointee Bernanke, is deliberately set outside the control of the White House.)The pros-and-cons of the QE2 policy in easing the recession are debated by economists on the right and left (see here). However, we know that one of the reasons Greece, for instance, is trapped in debt, is because as a member of the EU, they have no control over the size of their own money supply. And of course words like “usurper” (better applied to the 2000 Bush ‘election’ arbitrarily decided by a 5-4 conservative majority in Supreme Court) and “Corrupt Party” (easily applied to both parties at any time) — are just noise.

Why would anyone with a right-wing bias read this strip. I think it is fairly firmly established as a liberal comic — tho GT has been known to zing the other side occasionally.

As for “bullies” I’m sure it has been said that Mitt is not bully enough for the Cons.

And the economic mess is directly due to the unfunded wars we entered into during the Bush administration as well as the banking debacle he turned a blind eye to.

“And we Conservatives are not supposed to refute the lies here?”I’m waiting on the first one you dispute with actual facts instead of misguided ideological opinions “The bully right now is the Usurper …”You continue to give him the title “usurper” with no logic to back it up. He won a clear victory, no recounts needed. Why can’t you accept that fact?

You know you’ve found a true right-wing shill when they try to blame the entire global financial crisis on one Senator. Do you have any evidence to back that claim? I have several facts that refute it.
