It had been so long since the last TMCM that I’d forgotten I even subscribed. Looking at the archives and seeing how sporadic (unreliable?) this cartoon is, I’m surprised anyone would syndicate it at all.
On the other hand, I’ve always enjoyed TMCM for the art and the originality. Don’t be such a stranger, Shannon.

I believe Shannon Wheeler mostly draws for the New Yorker these days. I actually thought this strip had ended.
I think the occasional cartoon that pops up here now are reprints from the New Yorker.

Nonetheless, they are erudite and thought provoking…and silly enough to keep me coming back.
