I am amazed at how people don’t recognize the unconstitutionality of the individual mandate. If you want to give the government that kind of unlimited power, then you need to do it through a Constitutional amendment, not through a handful of appointees to the Supreme Court who want to legislate from the bench.

You know that most other civilized countries have healthcare. But here, in the USA, the top 1% refuses to allow the 99% a decent life:

Trout: It doesn’t matter whose idea it was; wrong is wrong. The difference here is that conservatives backed away from it and recognized the problem with it, but liberals took it, ran with it, and pushed it through despite popular opposition. Rick: And we’re also the only country with personal income tax levels as low as they are. Or would you rather pay 50% of your income in taxes to the federal government so we can have rationed and sub-standard care, but “free?”

“Fine the crud out of you.” What a jerk. If you refuse to buy insurance the penalty is $95 a year. OK, maybe $95 is a lot of money to a third rate amateur cartoonist.

For those who would actually like to learn a little about constitutional law, and our friend, the commerce clause:http://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2012/03/how-obamacare-will-be-settled-a-primer-on-the-commerce-clause/254872/

the cartoonist is totally correct….what Obama and the Democrats and the Liberals on the Supreme Court are up to is the changing of our constitution, bit by bit and Obamacare is quite a BIG bit. If God guides the majority to rule for true Justice, Obamacare will be ruled unconstitutional, and the Dems will have to go back to the drawing board for the next try.

We don’t need health insurance, we need health CARE! Medicare for all. The individual mandate was a republicant idea first, so you know how bad it was. The Dims have moved so far right it looks like a liberal idea now.

The same CONservatives who scream, wail, and cry about big goverment helping you get health care, have no problem with big goverment when it comes to getting in your bedroom, telling you what you can and can’t do, and with who. Lets just ignore the fact that the same catholic priests who don’t want goverment subsidizing birth control, DO want health care. Going against the CONservative belief. And if you would like, I can get into the hypocrisy of the church taking tax payer dollors from the office of faith based initatives from americans (like me) who don’t want to subsidize the church.

Anybody interested in starting a campaign to scrap the individual mandate and instead go for a single payer system?

Always amazed that people think that the so-called 1% are stealing form them; as if the pie is a finite size. Most of the 1% create their own pie (eg. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs). But like in the Little Red Hen, when it comes to eating the pie the slackers want a piece that was created by someone’s hard work.

If you want universal health care the give it. But we cannot take care of our own if we have to take care of the world too! Yet people complain about being tough on immigration, we give money to those who are against us. Let us bring home our boys to our own soil and territories and spend our money on our people. When the world does not have our money and we have it we will have many more jobs and tax revenue to pay for health care.

And the world will come to an end if Obamacare stays in place. Are CONservatives the only ones allowed to use hyperbole? Also, look up Bowers v. Hardwick. It may have been overturned eventually, but its a good view into the CONservative mindset. And while there are no stormtroopers yet, give it time. You just know that a dominionist like rick santorum would love nothing more then to put the evil big goverment to work on somthing like that.__________________________________I find it interesting that the same CONservative congressmen who turn to the priests as a way to block contaception, also ignore those priests when it comes to health care. Also, I’m not sure if I should even bother, but for the thousandth time, there are other uses for “the pill” then just sex (unlike a condom for instance, which is just sex). It is a type of medication, and should be covered under insurance. And I have my problems with Obamacare for that reason. There are numerous videos online of people like newt gingrich and mitt romney touting the wonders of the individual madate. They’re against it now because Obama is for it.___________________________________Let me ask you this, you don’t have a problem with goverment giving money to the church to “help people” (lol) but you have a problem with govt giving money to people for the same reason? Do you think the church knows better then the people? And an even bigger problem is who they give money to. In 2003, a pagen group was denied govt money from the office because they we’re labled a fringe group, and a bush spokesperson claimed “all they wanted to do was promote an idiology” (I’m sure NO christian groups try to promote the idiology) And check this. In June, 2006, U.S. District Judge Robert W. Pratt ruled that a faith based-program called InnerChange at a Newton, Iowa prison, operated by Charles Colson’s Prison Fellowship Ministries, unconstitutionally used tax money for a religious program that gave special privileges to inmates who accepted its evangelical Christian teachings and terms. “For all practical purposes,” Judge Pratt said, “the state has literally established an Evangelical Christian congregation within the walls of one of its penal institutions, giving the leaders of that congregation, i.e., InnerChange employees, authority to control the spiritual, emotional, and physical lives of hundreds of Iowa inmates.” So yeah, I am against the church getting money to force their beliefs on people. But I have to pay for it anyway. Therfore, the church oughta shut their mouths and pay for the pill.___________________________________And No, I don’t hate the church. Thats just your built in persecution complex (don’t worry, all close minded bible thumpers have it built in, so you’re not alone). You just need to learn the differance between criticism and hatered. I’m sure you have criticized muslims and Atheists. Do you hate them?

“fine” the crud out of you? Don’t you mean ‘tax’ the crud out of you? Your emissary even admitted it, repeatedly, until Justice Kennedy told him to stop saying ‘tax’ before the obvious intentions of the law become unavoidably clear.

“how do you think that will happen if the Affordable Care Act is overturned?” ALTERNATIVE Health Care measures may incorporate some ObamaCare concepts. There is more than one way to deliver services.

The biggest and longest ruling demonic government was that of the Catholic Church during the Papal Inquisition (12th-13th Centuries) in various European kingdoms during the Middle Ages and so reinstated on 27 September 1480 by Catholic Monarchs Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile and not disbanded until 15 July 1834 during the reign of Isabella. You missed your calling IEO by having been born in the 20th Century and not the 15th Century where Tomás de Torquemada Inquisitor General of Aragón, Valencia and Catalonia would have warmly welcomed you as you, he.You know Eddie the C-Church does have a lot of people who do a lot of good work, it is a shame that your comments harm if not fully detract from the good that is being done by C-Church parishioners. You need to spend more time with your Prayer Beads in front of your holy statues or…an adult needs to take your PC toy away from you.
