Hey! Disneyworld has tighter security than TSA. THEY run your fingerprint, TSA doesn’t. “Uncle Walt” is still watching over you!

Is he going to pop a cap on Goofy? Goofy can seem rather threatening.

@dtroutma, let me, since I live near there….

They do that so that every Guest feels Safe while visiting their Parks. You don’t have to worry about anyone coming up in the night to rob you —and if that does happen, Park Security is quick to take care of things.Walt’s vision of his Parks included that so that everyone who visited would have only happy memories, not bad ones.

Why don’t you come back over here? EPCOT is a wonderful place to see how the world could get along with each other, if religion & politics didn’t get in the way of things, as well as a testing ground for some great innovations that may someday be in everyone’s hands.Example: did you know that both Disney Parks in the US tested touch screens before they were made for public use? The managers allowed them to be put in several different places (here, only in EPCOT) and watched to see what the public would do. The Public didn’t let them down, and now we have them on our cell phones!

Actually, you would be looked at that way if you acted suspicious. We have Canadians come through here all the time & depend on you Canucks and other folk from around the World to help the State’s economy!Besides, that runs both ways: my next-eldest bro was searched on both sides of the border just because he has dusky skin (no, we’re not Hispanic nor terrorists) and he was driving an RV! They thought he might be trafficking drugs, even though he’s not into that at all. (See his site: www.waynewirs.com )

However, what I said about Walt Disney World was true. They want you to have good memories so that you will come back to see what they’re up to next! I know this because I watched the Magic Kingdom being built during my childhood.

DisneyLAND was built in my childhood, and I watched it built. In college, friends worked there, others at Knotts Berry Farm. Knotts was a LOT happier place to work, higher wages, better hours, and no creepy “dress codes” that were almost “Sharia”.
