I could stand a couple years of re runs.

Hey, I’m happy enough to get to see it from the beginning, but why not give Phil Frank credit for the Phil Frank strips?

Yeah, I wondered if it’d go retro. Hmm. Dusty doesn’t have the accent. I wonder when he started saying ‘ah’ instead of ’ I.’ Hmm. The artwork definitely did change from the beginning, eh?

Well, I see Pandolph has cut and run AGAIN just like he did with Barkeater Lake. IF he ever has another cartoon, I’m not even gonna bother!

I can live with this. I missed the early years.

Sometimes stories end and you need to start something new. I like that they are starting over.

Yes, I too missed the first years, this strip didn’t start running in our local paper until only about 2 years ago. Yes, I do miss Cory’s take on “all things Elderberries”, and that he just had to move on — no crime in that! It will be interesting to see how the strip unfolded under Phil — whom I didn’t even know about until about three weeks ago. Sure, I’ll miss Cory, but in a way, it will be nice, for me at least, to see how Dusty et al came into Elderberries. I am content.Thanks again, Cory. Onward…

Speaking of reruns, why can’t they do that with Yenny?

Kinda reminds me of my great-grandpa’s house; no running water, a wood burning stove and all business conducted at the kitchen table.

I bought the book a few years ago and passed it on to my daughter and have enjoyed it most of the time but I will still enjoy the reruns.

Funny how the comics comments section brings out the narcissists who believe everyone else must meet their desires and expectations.

Glad for the reruns. I missed the early years. When I would visit my dad his paper carried Elderberries. That’s when I first heard or read Elderberries. Love it. Miss my dad and I’m going to miss Elderberries.

Ahhhhh…… finally back to some decent art work. Would really like to see the strip from the beginning. I picked up on the strip shortly after it started and was hooked. Phil and Frank had a way with words and superior drawing skills. Almost bailed when it was taken over, but kept hanging on…… wishing………….

I had actually started reading from day on just last week. I am enjoying the heck out of it.

I am very happy to have the re-runs, I missed the first years. Why can’t people be happy after Phil Frank died the strip kept on for awhile ? and although I like Coreys art work and this strip, he still owes me 2 books !

I’m looking forward to taking it from the start. I’d never even seen this strip until about two years ago. This is much better than having it vanish!

If this means Elderberries is really at an end I’m incredibly disheartened.

I liked the Pandolph strips, but I love Phil Frank’s work even more. I still have some Travels With Farley and Miles to Go (Mr. Frank’s previous strips) carefully clipped from newspapers and stashed away. And for you people who are so annoyed by Pandolph’s track record, not all cartoonists are cut out to draw a daily strip for fifty years. Be glad for what we got.

This is what Lynn Johnson did. I like her older stuff too. Dusty is cute.

I like all the detail in the background. I really places it some where.
