Don’t worry Dill, the fuzz just enhances the flavor.

I’d do things like that, sometimes. I’d tell the teacher I had to use the bathroom and really go steal from a big jar of peanuts in the deserted library. : )

BLARGH!! It’s been explained in the comments day after day after day that Thompson is dealing with medical issues and some heroic few artists are stepping in to take his place over the six weeks he’ll be away for. Why u no comprehend?

@Muziton and mlevinsongomicsIf you came back to read the comments you’d realize this is a guest artist while the original artist undergoes medical treatment.

I hate to say it, but not everyone here follows this Award-Winning study of the human psyche on a daily basis. And some just barely detect a difference in the artwork. So the comments updating why this looks a bit odd are necessary to the casual observer. Or would you prefer to keep them in the dark? And never be drawn into the subtle and overwhelming beauty that is Richard Thompson’s artistically greatest creation? Meanwhile, we wish Richard the best in his treatment.

I’ve always felt that, if you can determine it is, in fact, a mint, it’s ok to eat it.

And I will say this AGAIN! Some of you may not like the “new” temporary look, but it is WONDERFUL that other cartoonists are doing this for Richard. AND WE ALL WISH RICHARD THE VERY BEST!

@Dry When Richard is back can you please buy us all a drink with all the money you and @grog are getting or some aspirin for the huge headache we have from the comments. I don’t comment a lot but this is just to good or weird or the pranksters are out and about ! Love all the other artist take on Cul de Sac…. cheers,

kirbey I think, both, a round of drinks and aspirin are in order. I sometimes leave here shaking my head in total disbelief when some smart guy asks where’s Richard immediately after someone has explained the situation for the 10,000th time! I give up.

Oh Richard, Please get well and save Alice’s good name. Turn her around from a life of crime! It starts innocently with mints from the teachers pocket. . . Oh the humanity!
