Some background on Fritz Ann Dietrich, please, unless she’s a new character.

The only background I can give you is that she looks like she wins a lot of staring contests.

Glad I finally checked back on Tracy. I just kinda avoided it when the museum thing got rediculous.

Here we go with the BLACKJACK story Mike teased us with… and as far as Fritz Ann goes, margueritem, she looks like a farm-fresh character. Can’t wait to get to know her.

“Officer Dietrich” would appear to be a very intense detective from some large city other than Tracy’s, but all this is just extrapolation from these first three panels of the Blackjack arc (coincidentally, both the names Blackjack and Dietrich have personal resonance for me).

What kind of name is Fritz for a woman? Mind you, I’m not fully awake yet, but does she look a but like Sarah Palin to anyone else?

Fritz Ann is indeed a new character as is Blackjack. I knew a girl in high school with that name, named for her father, and filed it for future use. The real Fritz Ann was very outgoing, the leader of her clique.

thanks for verifying fritz ann and blackjack as new characters ike. i, like most others, have heard you talking about blackjack before and i wasnt sure if he was a character that i had missed out on during my “inactive tracy years”. good to know i am “on the ground floor” with so many new tracy villains and allies. fritz, by the way, looks a tad bit like lizz to me.

I really enjoyed the storyline that just concluded and am looking forward to this one.

I really enjoyed the last story. It was a great change of pace with a totally unexpected setting. Seeing Vitamin Flintheart and the Mole was terrific.

And it moved so fast, it was almost over before I realized Tracy had barely appeared in it!Can’t wait to see what’s coming next!Go, Team Tracy!

Why is Tracy’s picture up on the wall like a mug shot?

Is that Macy on that wanted poster?

I think she’s on TV and sells Progressive Insurance.

And just exactly why did you call her that? Money was not mentioned by either Dietrich or her chief, nor was any kind of reward indicated. All we know about Dietrich is that she appears to be the gung ho type. So I ask you again, Adam First, why did you call her a “badge-sporting mercenary bounty hunter” when there is no evidence whatsoever that she is anything of the kind?

Excuse me, but am I the only one who, on reading the words “Officer Dietrich” immediately had a flashback to the old “Barney Miller” TV series? Yeah, probably.

Actually, with her thickly-knit sweater, glasses and short auburn hair Fritz Ann brings to mind Velma from the Scooby Gang.

Well, she has dark hair and glasses, and so does Sarah Palin. Don’t think they look similar though.

I thought of Fritzi Ritz, too; loved reading her comic books. There was a second-hand store in my neighborhood as a kid and they sold old comics, way before my time, for just a few cents. I learned a lot about the Depression and the WWII years just by reading the comics published during those years. But this Fritz Ann looks nothing like Fritzi Ritz.

And, yes, I also thought of Officer Dietrich from Barney Miller; he was one of my favorites on the show but I could never figure out how he managed to attract so many women.

Okay, so Arthur Dietrich and Aunt Fritzi got married and…

Regarding the poster of Tracy, my guess is LEDB stands for Law Enforcement Data Base.
