I don’t know any kid who hold onto their Halloween candy for 2 weeks, let alone 2 YEARS!!!

Don’t think we’ve ever seen Alice’s room before.

I would usually eat my Halloween candy in one night. Don’t know of any kids saving it for years!

Today’s strip was written by my 9-Y-O daughter (who also voices Alice in the animated shorts)…and she wrote the gag from a real conversation she and I had while looking for a sweater in her room…in reality? The candy was still in the bucket, half eaten AND there was a Christmas gift unopened! She took the original cartoon to her fourth grade class today for show and tell. Signed, a proud papa.

@towerwarlockYou’ve never been to our house! The twins room got so bad my husband actually hung the beds from the ceiling to keep them from putting stuff under them.

Halloween candy not getting eaten? Sounds just like my house. We would regularly find uneaten Halloween or Easter Candy months later. Seems the thrill of the chase was worth more than the consumption of the quarry . . .

Haven’t had “kids” in my house for years. The odd piece of hard candy will show up periodically in strange places.

Even as a kid I hated having a messy room. I was always afraid that if I didn’t put my toys away, someone would step on them and break them.

Oh, come on. Do you really expect us to believe you didn’t have anything good to smoke?

our parents would do that all the time, never found anything. We hid it in the garage. Army CID would do Health & Welfare inspections in Germany circa 1974, we would put pepper all over the floors for the dogs. But I digress.

One time I found a 2-year old bag of Halloween candy in my room. I think it was in a bookshelf next to a stack of old VHS tapes.

I LOVE that MJ and/or his 9 yr old daughter are subbing. I’m sure Richard is also pleased and hope his recovery is going well enough that he can read them ;-)
