Funny, though, how nobody is defending the president on this issue. They’re only ATTACKING Catholics’ presumed hypocrisy, and ignoring the matter of Obama’s shredding of the first amendment. As one who only cares about the future of your beloved autocratic dictator, you obviously differ.
By the way, I KNOW that you’ll come back with a “well, how about BUSH” comment, which I’d say that Obama is more Bush than Bush could have ever hoped to be.
Perhaps the Catholic hospitals should stop taking government funds which they rely on to keep their doors open, and rely on funds from the church and catholics. How about that? Conservatives want to reduce our taxes, lets start there first.
Works for me… I’d rather see free contraceptives, fewer abortions and less WIC needed as well as the cost of pre-natal care, cost of birth and the little bit of care for the child that could have been prevented.
In defense of Jeff Stahler, he seems more centrist than “conservative” and this ‘toon appears to be more a comment on the anti-Obama mania of the President’s political enemies, who will denounce him no matter what he says or does, than it is about the President’s compromse on this particular issue.
like a catholic acquaintance said about church contraception, abortion, etc policies, “Never take advice about what to do, from someone who doesn’t play the game…” i fail to see where a male can stand and prattle on, and attempt to claim authority to decide what’s right or wrong about something that doesn’t really concern his sex.
No,I’m saying they should offer the same services as any other PUBLICALY-GOVERNMENT SUPPORTED hospital. Your grammar has me wondering what you are claiming I do, but I believe you are the bigot clearly shown by your last sentence!
…and should religious law really supersede our gov’t laws? I’m not just talking the doors this could up for things like the Sharia, but matters of past precedent,ie,Matt Romney’s own Mormon Church.Did not Mitt’s own ancestors give into gov’t laws when they abandoned polygamy so that Utah could become a state? This not only make Mitt seem like he’s talking sideways, but almost everyone else against this …

Of all the things that I, as a left-wing radical, am mad at Obama over, the birth control compromise is not one of them.

Didn’t know condoms equated to abortion.
