But the geniuses at Channel 12 canned Wink and brought in this guy! They didn't care about Wink! They only cared about giving their viewers some eye candy! He brought candy? It's an expression, Chad. The “Chip Cavendish” and “Wink Summers” names in this strip are as funny as the names of the young actors working at Uncle Jed’s movie studio in the Beverly Hillbillies…Dash Riprock, Biff Steel, Tab Strong, Race Burley, Crunch Hardtack, and the oddest name of all…Bolt Upright. Chip Cavendish has the same granite jaw that all those guys had, too.
