Lazarus was the name of the dead man that Jesus brought out of the tomb. (You probably knew that.) Also, “Lazarus Long” was an extremely long-lived man in a Heinlein novel. (Can’t recall the name.) So if there was a Lazarus project, we can guess what it was about. But did it ever appear in the “Annie” strip? Don’t know.
