Considering Annie’s past and all she has seen and been through, it would not be a surprise that she can see ghosts. All that would be determined is that are they actually the spirits of those who have died or if they are the visions of a haunted mind dealing with all the tragedies of a disturbed mind. Those who know Annie well should know that she has a very stable mind and is a survivor. The others will be looking for the straight jacket and butterfly net.No wonder Annie is reluctant to discuss her unseen friends.
Mr Am is a timeless creature, invented by Harold Gray back in the 30’s who occasionally makes a comeback in the Annie stories. Jay Maeder featured him in at least one story arc.
