How can you take off, not knowing where you are going? I can see doing that on a car trip, but not a plane. You have to file a flight plan, don’t you? This was in 2002. I think most would have agreed on which side was good and which was bad, but as the war waged on, some may have come to see it differently.

The difference between those who want to kill everyone that disagrees with them (religiously or politically) and those who merely want to be left alone to lawfully and peacefully live their lives is an unbridgeable gulf. War IS the normal state of humanity and will be as long as anyone tries to wipe out the “unbelievers” or those who dare to disagree with them.
