…and he isn’t an adulterer, either.

I’m sorry, sir, we specialize in lies, not b——s——. Why don’t you try Mr. Rove’s office, just down the corner…

If Newt is a platinum member what kind of member is The Donald? Oh wait, I forgot. He is the founder and this is a Trump Enterprise business…

In 1994 Newt defined “lobbyisst” as a parties who trying to influence Democratic lawmakers for traditional Democrat, liberal, and progressive issues. Those parties approaching Republican lawmakers for traditional Republican, conservative, and right wing issues he defined as “Public Spirited Government Relations Specialists.” Check it out if you don’t believe me. So, Newt has never acted as a lobbyist in his view. He is a Public Spirited Government Relations Specialist. You have to understand language of Newt double-speak.

Trudeau is like the pot calling the kettle black. He’s had his own “facts” for years.

We can always try the political trick of repeating it often enough that people believe it.

@blackash, yeah, right, and the moon landings were all a conspiracy, too? And WMD’s were actually found! And Obama’s a Muslin! Go back to your am radio dial!

Why would a conservative even read Doonesbury, never mind submit a comment here? That’s like dropping a chicken into a pit full of Burmese pythons (Although I must admit I do occacionally watch Faux News. Hannity’s a hoot!)

Yeesh. And to think he’s being heralded as the “man of integrity” we need. I’m a Santorum fan myself.

You should really pay more attention, bh. Newt has been at laughably great pains to insist that he was not paid by Freddie and Fannie as a lobbyist, but as a “historian”.

There are people who think they are Christians who don’t know that Christ himself called out political liars…saying that they were from their Father, the Devil, the First Liar.

that’s one of the reasons I hope to live long enough to see the BEGINNINGS of the Apocalypse. Assuming such to happen, of course. However I also have rational moments. Nevertheless I would like to validate some opinions of the wrongwingers…and enjoy their moments of realization.

I’m a conservative who reads Doonesbury daily. While this “myfacts” storyline is pretty feeble, its usually a good strip.

Yes, Trudeau plays loose with the truth. The 3.3M job estimate from the CBO being the most recent (he picked the high end of a VERY broad range), but I don’t hold a cartoonist to a high standard so that’s OK.

Ok, Newt: you’ve been married to Callista since 2000, you’re a devout Catholic (as is she); you are outraged by birth control. Where are all the kids?
