It’s bad enough that so many people devoutly believe stuff for which there is no evidence, but to try to guide your life and make other people guide their lives according to ideas that are directly contrary to virtually all the evidence (as the “deniers” collectively do)…that’s just plain weird.

FOX IS fair and balanced. What WE say is the only truth, and the other side is a LIE! See, perfect balance.

Fox supporters, take heart, the left wingers are just too stupid to see a “Greece” happening in this country for just the same reasons. They just won’t learn from history as they have something “free” to loose if we go back to a level playing field. You can’t feed the bears and then suddenly take it away without repercussions; there are too many people paid not to work in this country. Liberal California going bankrupt will be an early sign.

Like Fox is the only news organization that makes crap up.The other networks, (being without sin, apparently) could really turn the ratings around if they did regular segments calling out the lies of a competitor. Gosh… I wonder why they don’t do that?…

Hmm…according to the CBO the stimulus created between 500k – 3.3M jobs. At $747B, each job cost taxpayers between $238k – $1.57M. Obama defenders would be funny if they weren’t ruining the country.

FOX News as defined on a sign seen at an occupy event:“Rich people paying rich people to tell middle class people to blame poor people”. Nails it!

@jrmerm: And how has the stock market, along with corporate profits, been doing lately? The stimulus worked as well as it could, and would have been a LOT better if the repubs had not obstructed it.

Lets see 880 billion stimulus divided by 3.3 million jobs equals $242,000 a person. Not to mention the robust 1% growth. You’re right it was an efficient use of money.

Half a generation ago, a politician would be ashamed when caught in a lie; now they repeat it until enough voters believe it to be true.

Nicely dismissed. However Rusty Limpoo doesn’t make his own calls. He ONLY reads what’s been written for him…well, now he’s done it so much he can wing it some, but it took twenty years of reading the Heritage scripts. Of course he had to go to painkillers because even he couldn’t deal with it…a self-made psychopath. He just couldn’t turn loose of themoney.

That’s what happened to Reagan…once they got him reading those scripts in front of rooms of engineers, he acted his way right into the part. That’s one of the better brainwashing methods, by the way…most good actors know this.

I only read this comic in an attempt to get the other side of current issues. So far this week, I’m not impressed. They are ridiculing my side of the issue instead of presenting facts to build up their side of the issue. And they are ignoring numerous facts that back up my views. Seriously, if I were a liberal, I’d be disgusted with this.

If you are one of the ones that runs around saying, ‘fox news lies’, then back it up. Cite a specific example and definitive proof that it’s a lie. Otherwise, while you have one finger pointing to them, there are three pointed back to you.

Actually it was a range fro 1.4 to 3.3 million but no effort was made to determine how many of those jobs would have been created as a normal economic activity, which the CBO admits could have happened. Trudeau needs to get his facts from the CBO instead of Politico.

Paul Joseph Goebbels and Roger Ailes use the same techniques to get good ratings for their “front men”. They’re not worried about “paralysis by analysis” for factual content, just that the latter day broadcasters have to be a little more cautious about slander, but not much.

Why would Faux call this company? They have an in-house department of made-up “facts”, and when it fails, the anchors make them up on the wing..And how about so many of the graphics they use to make points being shown to be from different events, different seasons, even different political parties? They always claim it’s a “mistake”.

The stimulus did create many public sector jobs, which are paid for on the backs of the private sector. Not so many jobs as far as private sector jobs go, which have fewer backs in play to pay to support the public sector jobs. Private sector jobs grow the economy, public sector jobs parasitically prey on the economy.

If something is said loud enough and long enough it is perceived as fact. If enough people repeat this “fact” it is perceived as truth.

Not to forget that a lot of the stimulus was in tax cuts, as required by the Republicans, who then voted against it, and then bragged about the jobs it was bringing to their districts. Can you say “hypocrisy”? Of course you can.
