Actually, that’s a great idea for him. Not only does he get to talk about it, but he’s actually producing something. And, you never know, he might find a following and eventually make some money.

I loved cars as a late adolescent, maybe even til I was 30. Now I know they are a diversion from what really matters – a tool, mostly.
