Only Violet patted Snoopy? I thought patting was kind of a requisite to talking to a dog you like. If they scratched his ears he’d forget all about the “sugar lips” thing.

But Snoopy’s a gourmet chef! He’s into fine dining!

I know how you feel, Snoopy. Nobody calls me “sugar lips” either.

All these pretty girls saying hi, and he’s upset by no ‘sugar lips’ greeting? (Come to think of it, no one has called me that either.)

Sometimes I wonder why Charlie Brown doesn’t forget about the Red-Haired girl and concentrate his energies on Violet instead. When I was little, I remember having quite a crush on the character.

This strip brings back wonderful memories for me. I remember this comic from when I was 8 or 9 years old. I had a huge stack of Peanuts comic paperbacks. Snoopy deserves to be called “sugar lips.” He’s great with the girls. :-)

Why sugar lips?

Well,Snoopy’s not exactly a typical dog,as we all know. We’ve had rare glimpses of the inside of his doghouse. Tres chic! I’m guessing he has a nice bathroom where he takes bubble baths and such.
