    And to think that some current “artists” are being paid for just drawing a straight line or a squiggle. At least Van Gogh was a legitimate artist.

    Don McLean sang Vincent, aka ‘Starry Starry night’.Cultural blindness is a common joke.i.e. Vincent Van Gogh is my favourite composer.

    Thank you all for reminding me of “Starry, Starry Night” I don’t think I’d remembered who it was about, but I always loved the song. Now it makes sense. Saw a video showing Van Gogh’s painting while listening to the music…..
