I’ve never known anyone that this scheme has worked for except the Amway company. I’m sure there are some that made it work out there, but they are far and few between.

Away is still out there. Some of those work at home adds are theirs. To make a go of it you spend a lot evenings pitching the system. But the products are really good. You can buy anything from them from vitamins to light bulbs to gasoline. They’re world wide. They sponsor professional soccer teams. A guy I work with is still in it and I get my products from him. I have a can of air deodorant that’s one third the size of a normal one and lasts twice as long. I believe they were based out of Michigan. Ewe. Enough said.

I actually grew up with parents in Amway- I’m still going to buy their laundry stuff (they do have good products), but my goodness, when I realized that I had been growing up with a pyramid scheme…

Amway is quite big in Asia. I’ve even seen Amway stores in Thailand.

I was going to say , “Is Amway still around”? but I gather it is! Anybody google it? Of course, if you buy online you will probably never get rid of them. They’ll track you down and show up at your doorstep!

I know that I probably shouldn’t even say anything here, but I just feel the need to back up one of the greatest companies that exist in the world today. Most of you should really do some research on the matter before you post. For starters, a pyramid? Let me ask you, how does it work at your place of employment? I’m knocking anybody here, I’m just suggesting that you consider some reliable sources and get the facts before you start making comments about it. I am proud to be an IBO with Amway. It has been the one of the best decisions of my life to start a business of my own.
