Enjoy childhood, Michael. After adolescence, that’s it.

You think kids don’t notice what goes on around them?

Some kids are proud to be the “man of the house”, but I think Michael is too old for this. He is beginning to realize the responsibilities that come with being an adult.

I totally agree! The getting old part is definitely NOT for SISSIES. I sprained my ankle a couple of weeks ago and can barely walk on it, but I have two darlings doggies that need to be walked. Sometimes it would be nice to have someone around to help, but over-all I’ll take being alone anytime.

I wonder – why is it when a man leaves the house, he tells his son “you are the man of the house now” but if a mother leaves the house, she doesn’t say to her daughter “you are the woman of the house”?

No they just don’t trust them to do the laundry, cook, or wash dishes.

There’s so much responsibility in being the man of the house. Michael figured it out right away.

There are a lot of things about being an adult that I love.

But sometimes, I still wish I could go back to being a kid again!
