I find it very interesting that there’s no argument regarding what is clearly going on in Europe, and yet we have the same lefties who GET IT about Europe support the policies of politicians in THIS COUNTRY that mirror the failed European economic policies. The irony is totally amazing!
As we’ve been building a “service economy” based on tourism (like Nevada and Greece) we might look at what corporations, not “government” have done to decrease the tax (book balancing) base of PRODUCTION.
Ha! Cheers for that, Grainbelt.@Eryx: It gets especially worse when when many interdependent countries are simultaneously imposing austerity packages.(I also have to keep telling folks that the U.K. isn’t just made up of the English. Just use “British” and you’re fine.)

Eryx……..We lost enough under the Blair / Brown fiasco, and since no government will reverse the policies of the preceeding one……here we are.
