Sooner or later it won’t fit in one bookstore — it’ll be in every bookstore.

Pages will be available in supermarkets….. Targets…… gas stations…..

These editions are merely for folks who’s eye sight is deteriorating as they age. The larger book —-very large print.

Maybe it’s to compete with ebooks by changing the font size?

Tall, grande & venti (coffee sizes at Starbucks).

It’s true, Otto – Susan’s comments (more often than others) actually ADD to the cartoons.

Shouldn’t those books have dates, then? If it weren’t for Susan, I wouldn’t get this strip at all…

Actually, the one on the right was written when he was a teenager & the next two as he grew older and realized how little he really knew.

Not really worth the little-known reference. A good comic can be understood by a majority of the population.

I did make a joke about it, which thanks for enjoying, if you did, but the info is out there for all.

And , much as I hate to wax serious (it’s slippery)……

I totally (but respectfully, of course) disagree with sho1952 —

Totally accessible humor can be hysterical, but more usually, seems banal or old hat.

(Not gonna mention any orange cats or guys with no pants, cos I always get in trouble.)

If it’s so subtle I have to work for it, like this one with a hidden in-joke, it’s all the sweeter when I get it.

I often find myself thinking, “Wow. good one, Guy and rOdd — I almost missed that reference!”

And sometimes I DO miss it — and THAT cracks me up, too, when I realise I was a fool..

Unlike some people, I enjoy being made to do a double take, walking right into a joke, or being zinged.

A laugh is a laugh, and if there’s nobody else around to be the butt of it, hey, gimme your best shot.

Oh, Blue Waves — funny – and Night-Gaunt — yes.
