As a Union Rep, I would support the administration on the grounds of theft. I would also require the admin to “prove” that it was theft and not utilized for a legitimate purpose. There’s no denying that “petty crimes” have a HUGE impact on the work place budget … but the expense of internal surveillance cameras is also more than basic integrity!

And he might have needed it for work- some companies are very stingy with supplies!
