KISS…Really!? This guy took the “Keep It Simple Stupid” a little tooo far! And the simple minded are eating it up…? But considering his targeted Audience… it is a good campaign strategy…or really an old school Marketing Trick.

cains plan is a tax increase on lower income americans. pretty simple. a fimly of four making 50k a year would pay 10 percent more in taxes.
it also won’t fly with the neo-cons as it is somewhat a VAT, too european, in that it is a tax on consumption.
the neo-cons don’t like consumption taxes.
bottom line it is regressive. i’m opposed to regressive taxes, they are unfair.
