A husband in the making

At Calvin’s age, I could pour my own cereal and milk. At my age, I’m pleased to say I still can.

Now you are both dead meat!

Since “The kid doesn’t know how to play his cards right”, now he needs an ace in the hole!

@frerrick,Morning sickness is a funny thought, but after Mom sees the card, she might experience mourning sickness!

Gotta admire the kid’s priorities.

Calvin’s six and he doesn’t know how to straighten a bed, put away his own clothes, or use a microwave?? Mom needs to use the downtime to move C a bit further along the road to not being so useless.

As a mother I find this card very sweet and would keep it with my special treasures. He says he loves her by making a card, then he says he knows and appreciates the things she does for him, and he says love again when he signs the card. All part of building a loving bond they will share when Calin is and adult.

A get well card and a demand letter all in one. Calvin should patent this for collections lawyers who have people they want stuff from in the hospital….

This will be a Hallmark moment when mom gets the card. Cal is gonna have marks on his keister.

What mother wouldn’t be . . . proud??? . . . to have a son like Calvin?!?!?

You’ve got to learn to read love in the way the other person knows how to express it. Calvin expresses love as a six-year-old boy expresses love. If he’s still thinks this way in 12 or 20 or 40 years, then he might have a problem.

That said, it’s still funny—his love is just about entirely selfish.

Again, if I had a kid like that, they would get hella disciplined.
