The Sunday version is actually a continuation of the weekly strips! I remember years ago, when Michael was married and the house he was living in was burned down (due to his obnoxious neighbor’s smoking) and the Sunday version (I believe it was Christmas holiday) depicted everything as completely normal.

It’s not the same airplane. The one in the daily strip is different colored and different shaped.

Of course nowadays, little kids CANNOT go out by themselves, be it trick or treating or otherwise, what w/ all the predators out there,….

I thought all kids went out with their parents. These days, I’d never let even older kids go trick or treating without supervision.

Good one, x_Tech!! LOL! :-)-In our area, once they’re in middle school, they’re out on their own, usually at the end of the night wearing their sports team uniform, getting the dregs of whatever is left.

I had to take my baby sister out when I went trick-or-treating. That was after I had to carve the pumpkin, make a costume, and help give out the candy. I hate Halloween! Too much work and not enough fun.

A good deed gets the reward, even if grudgingly given.

When I was a youngster, I lived in in farm country and was not permitted to trick nor treat. Now that was a real bummer going to school the next day watching the others with their bounty.

I was not the athletic type, thus in high school got six turn-downs for the senior prom. However, years later when I would take my little ones to the park, the girls would talk to me. I could have set up all kinds of dates, but figured wife would object.
