It’s “1984”, all over again. Actually, it’ll be far worse. Free enterprise will be worse than Big Brother, because we will have bought it hook, line and sinke (lead free, of course).

Not only can Ted not draw, he makes no sense in his rantings, either.

I understand the set-up at the top, but the panels are confusing me. Ted Rall, you damned intellectual!! ;-)

Right now we do NOT have class warfare, we have a simple oligarchism.

In laymen terms Rall is making the point that the right wingers are butchering the English language ala Glenn Beck.

Just one classic example of the “truths” in 1984, was Reagan dubbing the MX (missile expensive) the “Peacekeeper”, newspeak indeed! Teabuggers are so confused by their “leaders”, language is exempt from meaning.

“I’ll wait for Rall’s toon about how the left have perverted the word “liberal” and “progress”.”

You mean the way the reich uses the words to pigeonhole people who have an opinion that not in line with their talking points?

This strip is actually spot on with its typologies, but the problem is that the all of his scenarios involve individual decisions and the liberty of the individual to make that decision….much different than the government dictating “fair” monetary policies.
