And now, the fun begins.

Bottle? I thought she was nursing?

Give a child a hammer, and everything suddenly looks like a nail.

The only hammer I bought for my son was a musical one – every time he hits the hammer at different pressure it gives a different musical note. I suppose that’s why my son is musically inclined.

Slug Queen, I think that bottle is for the doll.

I suspect that Luci will be a tomboy when she gets older.

While the oldest child is usually most influenced by their parents, the younger siblings are usually influenced by their older siblings. I’m so grateful that my oldest is sweet, smart, patient and kind.

Why does Max have that hammer anyway? Mom take that hammer away.

The truth is talking, she just can’t mouth it right now.

The summer our eldest turned 2, we hired a carpenter to do some repairs to our back porch and build a small deck. By the end of summer, our little lad was not only keen on hammers, but also knew how to use a saw, drill, level, square and nail set. Fortunately, his tool set was plastic or our furniture would have all been remodeled.

This strip reminds me of my kids once upon a time; One daughter then two sons. Our daughter got hyper sometimes and now she’s in the Air Force with a little son of her own.

Dolls? Seriously? Judging by my girls, Joan is in Fantasyland…

I was starting to be enraged with Joan’s stupid comment – till I saw Luci’s unvoiced thought. What a relief! and what a shock Joan has ahead of her!!

I knew plenty of girls that were into boy stuff like Transformers and Power Rangers, and hated wearing skirts.

Why in the world would someone suggest that it’s ok to let a 3 old play with a hammer???…

Why does he have a hammer?
