Dogs love to play in any body of water…except a bath!

So much for it being an expression. Wow!

What a pool Alix has. That’s so cool.

At least the cats land on their feet. The dogs just turn into poodles (puddles).

True not all dogs like baths. My daughter has two male and female. Female no mommy male is young yes for now can be a daddy. Female no likes baths male likes showers.

Like pullin’ hen’s teeth to get my “Mr/ Prissy-paws” to do anything outside as he should when it’s raining (like today). And he’s a LAB fer cryin’ out loud!!!!!!!!! Water dog! Yeah! Right! Sheeeeeeeesh

The only thing worse than raining cats and dogs is hailing taxicabs and buses.

I once tried to explain the expression to a native French speaker who had never heard it before. We established that the French equivalent was “Il pleut à boire debout” (It’s raining (so hard that) you could drink standing up.")

I’m always fascinated by words…
