Yeah, I thought we would have hand held wireless communicators and computer terminals that could access the world’s knowledge in data banks.

Who would ever thought we would someday carry a Phone in our shirt pocket?

With your attitude son, you should be glad she can’t fly.

You wouldn’t want that nice mai tai to “accidentally” spill on your head

And yeah, Otto and Hillbilly — who woulda thunk it.

Not just a phone in my pocket, but almost instant access to the news, to pictures of friends, to help from experts – in fact, to the libraries of the world.

And the comics. Let’s not forget the comics.

Never thought I’d see a few square inches of metal and plastic that could provide all that.

I can’t afford it but I can’t give it up.

FLYING CARS….not cell phones….come on…. We also thought we would get rid of “weather”….(lol… all this from a classic calvin strip…my all time favourite)…Finally; cities on Mars inside giant glass bubbles: a distant 3rd…

For most of the stuff we all post, it’s more like nonsense of humor.

I think that thing is programmed wrong….It should definitely be serving the drinks first…She couldn’t hold a candle to Rosie. Now there’s a great robot maid. (Ummmm, OK, will be?)…. Anyway, vacuum later, why risk a spill? That would be abuse of alcohol…. I wonder if she says “Lift your legs!” when she vacuums near you….

@icetea, Skype and other similar are free on the web- I don’t like the quality, tho’ especially as my back while at my PC is opposite a whole wall of bright windows. @Susan, I don’t ever plan to have any screen smaller than this 20" flat on on my PC to surf – I use a friend’s cell in an emergency and prefer them to dial. I’ll stick with wired phones all over the house.

Laflin — True, but sometimes nonsense makes more sense than what "sensible " people call sense. Hope you can get the sense of that…

Can’t you just see flying cars driven by the folks on the roads today. A big hello and thank you to all the people who are always up to no good with the puns.

Varnes — I think maybe its vacuum leg is always extended, for balance. Might as well be sucking up dirt while it sucks up to its owners (meanwhile plotting the android revolution.)

I promised myself I was NOT going to ask why you wanted to know whether it would ask you to lift your legs. :)
