This is not good. Reminds me of my brother-in-law teasing my mom. She does not like to rush the days.

Christmas……the pied piper of every child’s heart.

I’ve already done 90% of my Christmas shopping.

I’ll work on Halloween and Thanksgiving, then worry about Christmas.

Halloween since August – Christmas in September – whatever happened to Thanksgiving??

@ psychlady: Thanksgiving doesn’t have anything like candy or presents associated with it, so retailers are inclined to ignore it and try to keep people focused on more profitable holidays.

Yeah, my Fall $eason was ruined about a month ago, Went into a $tore and chri$tma$ tree$,$anta$ and halloween $tuff wa$ already on di$play.

The way I see it, the Christmas stuff should go up in November and NOT in October.

MAN! That just ruined my day too. Ugh.

On a fixed income, I’m glad I no longer give gifts except to one grandson born of my daughter’s 2nd marriage who did not benefit from the better years.
