Sadly, it isn’t just the GOP. Finding a true “liberal” in D.C. today is kinda’ like a survey under the Endangered Species Act (despite what our “righty” friends would have us believe). “Liberal” btw has absolutely nothing to do with “Communism” or “Socialism”- it just means analyzing facts and a willingness to accept ideas, and work for the good of ALL people, neither the “privileged few” at the top OR only those at the bottom of the economic ladder, but EVERYONE. That includes Dwight EIsenhower who today would be branded a “Commie, Socialist, Fascist” by anyone on the “right” today. He was for corporate SUCCESS, just warned us about the “military-industrial complex” and the monopolies that were building there, and elsewhere in “industry”.
Nope, D.C. is a mess, has been for some time, and while we DO have a few decent folks in Congress, they are badly outnumbered, on BOTH sides! The biggest failure is the decline in the collective I.Q. and basic common sense, but it IS what matches the electorate!
