    @ Kimberly,

You mean like he had the first two years of his reign? Well, it’s the first real job he ever had. Two years is probably reasonable for OJT.

Surely Ken, you will concur that the government is not supposed to save the lives of tricksters, charlatans, lobbyists and big business. We corrected welfare abuse by people now it’s time to correct corporate welfare.

That’s what makes me angry… what he could have done — and didn’t!

Actually, Obama is following FDR’s administration to a “T.” FDR campaigned for “change” from the Hoover administration, and he gave the country MORE of it. He made an ordinary depression “GREAT” (the highest standard (or lowest) in world history). Obama did the same thing. He campaigned against Bush’s policies, and he gave us MORE of them. No difference…

Is it so horrible for the government to contract American companies that hire American workers to build wind & solar power systems that reduce our dependence on foreign oil, & reduce the amount of crap in the air? Bush’s corporate tax cuts & TARP bailout built factories in China & the third world, & padded already bulging bankbooks. Chrysler closed a plant in St. Louis & opened one in Mexico (admitted, better jobs in Mexico could ease our immigration problem, & that one was Barry following Junior’s lead).

I just can’t get over how ridiculous the liberals can be. The first two years of Obama’s presidency, his party controlled both House and Senate. Everything that went wrong was Bush’s fault. Now that he no longer controls the House, everything bad is the fault of the Republicans in the House AND Bush!! Will these people EVER take responsibility?? I’ll be the first to say that Bush blew it as far as the economy goes (way too much spending on pork projects and broken government programs!) Now, it’s time the libs ’fessed up and admitted that their hero has only made the problem worse (increased spending).

It’s not the fault of the rich (the top 10% of Americans in terms of wealth and income pay over 50% of the taxes). It is the fault of those who evade taxes (far more common among lower and middle class) and a bunch of people in Washington who spend like drunken sailors.

God, I’m tired of this comparison. He’s closer to GW Bush than Carter.
