That he did. It’s a shame he didn’t wait to run until he’d served in the Senate for several to many more years, so that he might have learned more about how Congress works.

I know there are a few, very few, Democrats speaking up, but what is up with their “majority”?? This president has gotten less support from his party than any in history, and it isn’t that all his ideas have been bad, or even at times his leadership, but remember, Jesse James was shot in the back by Bob Ford, a “friend”.

the democrats are a spinless mob.the republicans thinly veiled.

they all are owned, lock stock and barrel by foreign companies.

they are a bunch of treasonous soundrels who NEED to be tarred and feathered.

different application for the “rope theme”- in a tug-of-war, if your “team” doesn’t help you out and share the load, you all end up in the mud, and the other side wins. We got a bill to clamp down on excessive credit card abuse, we got a far less than perfect “health care bill” that handed to much to “corporate providers”, just like the Medicare Part D bill that handed everything to the pharmaceutical companies(“W” did that!). The capitulation is getting pretty bad, but when your “team” leaves the field, the captain has to at least TRY to work to save the fans. Don’t have to reflect much on the comments here, and TEA party folks, and other “objections” to see what the REAL problem folks have with this “captain pinata”.

The things that President Obama has to do to act as President in this term and run for President in 2012. Nobody appreciates and likes a “nice guy”. They push him around and then campaign against him and complain he’s not tough enough, not like Lyndon Johnson was, or Richard Nixon; President Obama is more like President Clinton in his second term—he’s doing the best he can and no one gives him credit for doing a good job of it ! ! !
