Scott’s mistaken. “Interrobang” refers specifically to a single mark that looks like a question mark overlaying an exclamation point or vice versa. I’ve never seen it except in discussions of failed grammar fads.
Stephen’s right. Another such emphatic mark is the “doublestop,” which is two superimposed periods. It’s difficult to spot, but if you suddenly cease reading at the end of a sentence, there’s a good chance you’ve hit a doublestop.
