Oh, I see! Rip has his arm around the goon’s neck in Panel 1. That explains the bewildered look in their five-second moment of victory..ANd after what they’ve done to Cobra, this is definitely a KA-POW! moment. HUGPOUNCEZZZ to all us Haywire fans out there!

All right….I finally got my “KA-POW”…..now we’re getting down to some serious bad guy whoop’ins……I even had a Batman and Robin flashback there for a second….Thanks Dan….I needed that!!!!

Huh? TNT wasn’t housebroken when Rip saved him from his abusive ex-owner? (That explains so much.) But no, I think TNT is fibbing to frighten the thugs; he’s so finicky that he probably has been housetraining Rip. “Rip, is that toilet seat and cover down?” “Rip, did you soak the blood stained polo shirts in cold water?” “Rip, Mt. Dew Code Red goes with beef.” Etc.

Veridian, HUGPOUNCEZZZ right back atcha, my friend! I for one am relieved that Rip didn’t drown; it would’ve taken all the joy out of the strip! :-)
