Man, this brings back memories of our old swimming hole. Deep large pool of water, steep high bank on one side with a huge tree and limb out over the water. Two inch diameter rope attached to that limb. One could get almost 30 feet into the air at the top of the swing. Someone had to shinny up the tree and stay out on the limb to retrieve the rope when it didn’t swing far enough back or wasn’t caught. The swimmer had to get out on the far bank and walk (usually ran) back around through the shallows. Only problem was we couldn’t skinny dip for girls being around or possibility they would show up. Never could talk them into just skinny dipping coed. LOL
