Calvin’s pancake will taste crunchy with egg shells.

Recipe said add two eggs…..didn’t mention anything about shell-less eggs…………

The kitchen looks quite the same as ours looked when we came back from a week holiday without our children… They made pancake for us, that was really lovely, but the kitchen…

Better get the hood off of dad’s car for a pan, and buy stock in Mrs. Butterworth’s.

I kinda wish there was a fifth panel just so I could see the mess that pancake would create.

The egg shells will add calcium…

And drinking the middle of the flapjack with a straw will be awesome!

Looks like Johnny Five making breakfast. “This is going to be some good slop.”

I don’t much like pancakes, and I don’t think this one’s going to change my mind.

It’s so nice that in comic strip world, you never have to worry about cleaning up!

Where’s Mom?! Doesn’t she hear all the commotion going on in the kitchen?

Maybe Hobbes didn’t egg Calvin on, but he stirred things up by encouraging him.

This won’t pan out very well. Calvin ends up with egg on his face and will have to shell out to replace the wasted ingredients.

“Should be done by now… Why isn’t it cooked already? Better turn the heat up!”

@gforgina,Mom might be ‘bowled’ over when she sees the mess. ’She’ll’probably ‘cup’ her hands over her face in chagrin and embarrassment, and with only one pancake instead of twenty, Calvin will be ‘nonplused’ at Mom’s reaction.

That’s how I make my pancakes. A big spatula helps, but is not necessary.

20 pancakes? Maybe silver dollar pancakes… extra crunchy.

… oh I’m so thankful my lttle guy is not a ‘Calvin’ :)

I love pancakes but I don’t think I’d like Calvin’s very much — especially if they included egg shells!

Well…the bigger, the more you get, ‘cause you didn’t plan for anyone else’s breakfast and now it’s too late… heh heh But is that a good thing or a bad thing? Calvin’ll just have to wait and see and maybe let Mom cook breakfast next time.
