It certainly would have been more interesting (insomuch that you can label mass death “interesting”, you’ll forgive me) if he had identified and targeted a group of jihadists.

The problem is finding that many jihadists in Norway. (There aren’t many, since most Muslims, like most Christians, are peaceful. There are a significant few of both religions who refuse to get the message.)

Cain, Joshua, it goes back a long way, and it’s just “human nature” enflamed by “faith”- in either religion, or radical politics.

Got to be disappointing to the military industrial complex that the terrorist was not a jihadist. How are you supposed to whip up fear against the enemy that way?

It wasn’t very religious dtroutma, though he made references to Europe’s Christian heritage….his diatribe was mostly cultural. Quote:“A: As this is a cultural war, our definition of being a Christian does not necessarily constitute that you are required to have a personal relationship with God or Jesus.”

DrCanuck, that is absurd, though the use of the phrase “personal relationship” is possibly a modern advent. The concept is as clear as plastic wrap….let the apostle Paul speak:

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20 KJV
