Honest, Dad, the muck monster grabbed me!

It’s true, Lio’s Dad. I saw the whole thing.

Since it’s just about impossible to get such a beautiful coating of mud on your own, I’d belive him.

LOL, it looks like Cookie Monster’s brother…

With any other kid, I’d say he was lying.

With Lio… it’s probably the truth.

He’s not buying it, Lio – try tearing up and sniffling a bit.

This never happens to Little Billy from “Family Circus”.

Wasn’t there a leaf pile that did this to Calvin? I wonder if they are related?

Just send him back into the rain to rinse the mud off.

With MerryMarg & Carmy as witnesses, Lio ought to be OK. Unless his Dad makes him “come clean” on what REALLY happened!!

The Mud Monster DOES have a strong resemblance to Cookie Monster.

I am perfectly willing to believe in the Mud Monster. But you also expect me to believe in a virtuous Lio who did his best to avoid the mud-puddle? –I have to be a bit sceptical, even if Dad is going to let it go….

Almost like Calvin telling his father that, but it was “a horde of dirty cannibals.” His mother screams at him for tracking the mud in the house and yells at him to get out. Later, Calvin soaks his father with a water balloon and advises him not to go into the house like that for Mom’s in one of her moods again.

Is Lio telling a dirty story?

M is for Mudhole, that’s good enough for me =P

Nobody believes Jeffy from Family Circus either, even though he also leaves a trail of black bars and an arrow as an alibi.

The thing is, knowing Lio, that’s probably not too far off.

Lio is becoming more reminiscent of Calvin.

A little far fetched there! but then again this is lio……..

This one is just so Lio, with the giant mud monster. Made me chuckle.
